Listed on the American Institute of Architects list of the 100 most important American buildings, Bishop's Palace is a dazzling specimen of Victorian design. Tours move past opulent stained-glass windows, colored stone, bronze dragon sculptures, a pure-silver fireplace, and many other elements befitting of a majestic castle. In a town known for grand architectural structures, Bishop's Palace is the grandest; it lies on the north end of the island, near Stewart Beach Park.
