Description:

Treasure Isle Tour Train runs an open-car train on a 17-mile 1-1/2 hour tour of the island city of Galveston. The loop departs from the beach, a block east of Menard Park. Guides relate the history of the town and landmarks passed, including the remains of Fort Crockett, Rosenberg Library, Jean Lafitte's home, Moody Mansion, the Bishop's Palace, Ashton Villa and the Strand Historic District

Hours of Operation:

Departs May - Aug: 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.; Sept - Nov and Mar - Apr: 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. weather permitting.

Adults $7; Children $4.
