Description:
The history of the philanthropic Moody family of Galveston can be studied in the 1895 Moody Mansion through guided tours or self-guided viewings of various exhibits displayed at the house. It sits south of downtown Galveston, a mile west of Stewart Beach Park. All furnishings in the home are original pieces from the family, and each room on the main floor is decorated in a different period style.
Hours of Operation:
Open Mon. - Sat., 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Sun., 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Guided tours begin on the hour.
Admission Details:
Adults $6; Seniors $5; Children (6-18) $3; Children under 6 are free.
